Permafrost Engineering Education Program (PEEP) Student Award

The PEEP Committee is excited to announce their Student Award program for RCOP & ICCRE!

Minimum requirements to qualify for the award are:

• You are currently enrolled as a student at a US University or College.
• You present your work at RCOP & ICCRE or are one of the authors of a conference proceedings paper. (You can present your work in the form of a poster, recorded talk, or invited presentation).
• You are a current USPA member (hint: if you are not a member right this second, you could still sign up)
• You fill out this FORM by Monday, October 25, 5pm Mountain Time. The deadline to submit the form has been extended to November 8, 2021! (YOU MUST FILL OUT THE FORM TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE AWARD!)

The USPA created PEEP as an educational initiative in 2009, to promote engineering education and outreach for permafrost and cold regions engineering related issues. PEEP addresses the sustaining need for practical engineering solutions related to buildings, roads, and other infrastructure in Alaska and Arctic Regions. It continues the successful legacy started by the Permafrost Technology Foundation in its focus of providing permafrost engineering solutions and standards in the public domain.
